Holding

Do I need to stake?

No. Hold MOS in a wallet you control. That is the whole requirement.

Does MOS on an exchange count?

Only if the exchange holds it in a wallet that is yours. Custodial exchange balances sit in the exchange's wallet, so the exchange would be the holder. Withdraw to your own wallet to be eligible.

I bought MOS today. When do I get paid?

From the next draw that closes after your purchase, weighted by how much of that draw's window you held for. The draw after that counts you in full.

Does moving MOS between my own wallets lose anything?

Each wallet is weighted for the time it held. If you move everything from A to B, A earns until the transfer and B earns after it. Link both wallets and they are simply one holder.

Dividends

Why did I receive tokens I did not ask for?

You had no saved mix, so you were paid the default basket: SPYx, OpenAI, Anthropic and ANSEM, 25% each. Save a mix on the portfolio page to change it.

Does saving a mix cost anything?

No. It is a signed message, not a transaction. There is no gas and nothing moves.

Can I be paid in MOS?

Yes. MOS is in the catalogue. Set it to 100% if you want.

Why is my delivery smaller than my share suggests?

The share is of the base pool, which is 60% of the pot, and the purchase happened at market price with a slippage bound. Very small amounts can also be held back until they are large enough to deliver.

Can I win the jackpot with a tiny balance?

Yes, with a tiny probability. Odds equal your share of the eligible weight. The portfolio page shows your one-in-N odds for each prize.

Money

Where does the money come from?

The 2% fee on every swap in the official MOS markets, plus the protocol share of Tiles apps. Nothing else.

Is any MOS reserved for the team?

No. There was no team allocation, no vesting and no pre-sale. The strategic reserve is protocol-owned, bounded by policy and used for liquidity, not compensation.

Are the percentages fixed?

They are operating policy. The current split is 80% rewards, 4.5% buyback, 4.5% reserve, 6% treasury, 5% operations. A change is published before it applies.

Multichain

Is rhMOS a different token?

It is MOS on Robinhood Chain, backed one-to-one by MOS locked on Solana. Bridging back returns the original MOS.

My aggregator cannot sell rhMOS.

By design. rhMOS only swaps through the official pool so the 2% fee reaches holders. Use the swap on mosaicfi.xyz/trade.

Do I have to link wallets?

Only if you hold on Robinhood Chain and want that balance to count, or want to be paid there. A Solana-only holder needs to do nothing.

Safety

Will Mosaic ever ask me to sign a transaction?

Only when you choose to swap, bridge or play Tiles. Receiving dividends never requires a signature. A "claim rewards" prompt is a scam.
